Today, We held English discussion activity "Express Yourself in English !", heard, talked about and sang a song in English, which lead by Yuko-san, a Jazz singer.

Today's theme song was "I Could Have Danced All Night".
"I Could Have Danced All Night" is one of the song of Broadway and filmized "My Fair Lady".
So we sang by 2 patterns, one was the American English-like and the other was British English-like today.
The story behind the song concerns Eliza Doolittle, a flower girl who takes speech lessons from professor Henry Higgins to become a lady.
Eliza endures speech tutoring, endlessly repeating phrases "The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain".
Eliza suddenly says the phrases in perfect upper-class style. Higgins, Eliza, and Pickering, a house guest, happily dance around Higgins's study. Mrs.Pearce, the housekeeper, insists that Eliza go to bed, but Eliza declares she is too excited to sleep.
