Today was the day for English discussion club activities, "Express Yourself in English !".
Thank you all who joined the activities.
We had two new participants.
So, we all introduced oneself.
Today's theme was "Summer vacation".
And Yuko-san set the text "starting and ending conversation", those are effective to make conversation with person who is the first meeting.
We made some pair and did pair-work using the text.
Then, we did another pair-work, "Questions and answers".
Using 10 questions to ask partner about summer vacation, one got answers, and asked more deeply which one had interest in partner's answer.
Yuko-san gave us one technique to continue conversation.
That is "repeat question".
For exsample;
A) How would you feel if there wasn't summer ?
B) How would I feel if there wasn't summer ?
